Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesCommonSpirit Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Night shift Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider to join our well-established hospital-employed group.

About the Opportunity:
Schedule: 7 on / 7 off shifts (7am - 7pm), Tuesday to Monday at our hospital located in Hixson
Focus: Inpatient care for adults, no Peds, OB, or Trauma. No codes (Rapid Response Team handles), no after-hours call.
Support: The APP will work with a collaborating physician who is accessible remotely via telehealth for consultation, oversight, and clinical support. A reasonable census, and closed ICUs staffed by Intensivists.
Key Responsibilities: Diagnose, treat, prescribe, order/interpret tests, and manage discharge planning for inpatients.

Job RequirementsRequired Education and Experience
Master's degree in nursing
3-5 years clinical nursing practice in an acute care setting required.
1-3 years previous experience as a NP in an acute or primary care setting or equivalent RN experience
Required Licensure and Certifications
Certified Nurse Practitioner in the state of TN
Licensed as an RN in the state of TN/GA
American Heart Association BLS (BLS-CPR)
