Seeking a Full-Time Night Shift RN’s to join our General Pediatrics team (CA2, CA3, CA4) at our Thomas Campus. This is a lower acuity, team-oriented environment caring for a blended pediatric population (newborn-18 years) including Infectious Disease, GI, Endocrinology, respiratory conditions (including cystic fibrosis), and general med/surg. Nurses typically manage a 4:1 ratio (occasionally 3:1) and work in a flexible unit model that supports cross-coverage as needed. The schedule is night shift with every other weekend requirement, and orientation is 4-12 weeks, tailored to experience. Pediatric RN experience is preferred; however, we welcome adult-to-peds transition candidates who are adaptable and eager to learn. This position works in collaboration with the healthcare team, patient and family to promote patient health through delivery of professional nursing care appropriate to patients age and condition as documented in the nursing and medical plans of care in accordance with evidence-based nursing and patient care practice standards and hospital goals, values and regulatory standards.
Education
Two year (ADN) degree in nursing, a four year degree (BSN) in nursing, or a Diploma Nursing degree. (Required)
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or currently enrolled in an RN to BSN program. (Preferred)
Certifications
Current State of Arizona RN license or an RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges or the ability to establish licensure according to Arizona law prior to start date. (Required)
Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association prior to start date. (Required)
