The Patient Logistics Dispatcher is a high energy, detail-oriented position requiring a positive attitude working in a 24/7 environment. Responsibilities include communicating verbally and electronically with all departments in the hospital, along with coordinating staff resources to respond to logistical transport requests in an efficient manner. Maintains highest level of professional communication and excellent customer service working with team members, patients, and families.
High school diploma or equivalent. (Required)
Two (2) years of customer service experience (Required)
Excellent communication skills generally gained through work experience that includes multitasking: reading, listening, and computer use. (Required)
High volume call center, phone customer service, or dispatch experience. (Preferred)
Hospital or healthcare experience with medical terminology. (Preferred)
BLS Certification through the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire. (Required)
Proficient in office software, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, some Excel. (Required)
