The Audiologist will work 3 days in Roanoke and 2 days in the New River Valley. If they prefer to work all 5 days in the New River Valley that is an option. This is a solo Audiologist position and will join a team of 4 solo Audiologists at Carilion Tanglewood Center when working in Roanoke. When working in the New River Valley the Audiologist will work in the NRV ENT Clinic. Will see both adult and pediatric patients.
Position includes:
Performs basic Audiometric Evaluations for ENT and audiology only for patients that are prescheduled.
Hearing aid dispensing and maintenance while utilizing real ear verification
Opportunity for Cochlear Implant Management
Responsible for ordering and maintaining clinic supplies
Performs other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
Education: Master’s degree or AuD in audiology from accredited institution.
Experience: One year of related experience. Should be qualified to perform adult diagnostic hearing tests, work with Otolaryngology providers, fitting and follow up for adult hearing devices, and prefer experience working with Cochlear Implant patients.
Licensure, certification, and/or registration: Virginia state licensure in both Audiology and Hearing. ASHA: American Speech-Language-Hearing Association CCC-A or ABA certified.
