SSM Health is seeking a dedicated General Neurologist to join our team in Jefferson City, Missouri, and establish our new neurology department. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated physician to build a comprehensive neurology program from the ground up while serving the healthcare needs of our community.
This is a brand-new position offering unique advantages:

Clinical Responsibilities:
As our General Neurologist, you will:
- Diagnose, treat, and manage a full spectrum of neurological conditions including:
- Headaches and migraines
- Sleep disorders
- Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
- Epilepsy and seizure disorders
- Stroke and cerebrovascular conditions
- Movement disorders
- Neuropathies and other neurological conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests including:
- Electromyography (EMG)
- Electroencephalography (EEG)
- CT scans
- MRI imaging
- Other specialized neurological assessments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other specialists to provide comprehensive, coordinated patient care
- Provide consultation services to emergency department and hospitalized patients

Required Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree
- Completion of neurology residency training
- Board certification or board eligibility in Neurology
- Valid Missouri medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
