Outpatient Cardiothoracic APP (Physician Assistant)
DescriptionThe APP is responsible to assist with cardiothoracic and vascular consultations and pre-operative evaluation. Additionally, the APP will evaluate and treat all post operative cardiothoracic patients once they are discharged from the hospital. This role involves physical examination, wound evaluation and care, prescribing and managing medications, and communicating with other APPs and physicians regarding the coordination of care for the cardiothoracic patient.
