We are currently seeking physicians with an interest in joining our primary care leadership team as medical director for MC365, walk-in primary care. Our physicians and APPs provide quality primary medical care in a compassionate, caring and innovative environment. As part of our provider team, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in strategic initiatives as we continue to grow our program and offer services to patients throughout the region. Our providers enjoy the close-knit community feel and camaraderie of a cohesive group of practitioners. Physicians within our team provide full scope of care to a wide spectrum of patients. We offer a traditional model of coverage as well as walk-in primary care in our MC365 model which provides flexibility and work life balance in a variety of locations offering convenience and avoiding a long commute.
The Medical Director is responsible for local and regional strategy, operational and quality performance, and appropriate development of their group/division. In this work they partner with and are supported by the Executive Medical Director, Service Line Director, Practice Administrator and APP clinical manager. The Medical Director is responsible for leading their group in the development and execution of operational tactics to achieve the aspirational goals for the group; including but not limited to - quality, patient experience, clinical outcomes, financial outcomes, new services, regional development, referral development, clinical operations, and medical staff interactions with the group. In their leadership role, the individual will work closely with other physician leaders, physicians, APPs, nursing, administration (WPP and system), recruiting, clinical and financial staff and marketing. The Medical Director will also serve in a clinical capacity providing quality care to the patients within their clinic or division. The Medical Director will be expected to utilize a collaborative leadership style to develop their division into one that is recognized as a leader and fulfills our WakeMed Mission, Vision and Values. This position will be structured as .80 Clinical and .20 Administrative. Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible by an American Medical Specialty Board. Visa sponsorship not available.
