Surgical Nurse Liaison
SUMMARY: Reporting to the Hospital Surgery and Pavilion Surgery directors, the Surgical Nurse Liaison will coordinate communication and flow of the patient's Perioperative process including the phases of: Pre-Op, Inter Op, and Post Op, to also include ICUs. The Liaison role will include communicating information regarding patient's condition and procedure, relay family questions and concerns to surgeons and provide support to the patient's family during the Perioperative period.The liaison will collect and analyze information to provide feedback to the Surgical Services Staff and Surgeons to improve throughput and patient outcomes.
