The role you’ll contribute:
The Director of Strategic Clinical Resource Management and Value Analysis reports to the Executive Director of Strategic Sourcing and provides leadership and consultation to company facilities in the clinical review, evaluation and procurement of products and leads multi-disciplinary teams to decrease product variation, utilization and costs through the development of consensus supply utilization programs and initiatives. This position works closely with AdventHealth Clinical and teams representing all hospital sites to review contracts and facilitate the value analysis process. This position is responsible for gathering information from clinicians, communicating and soliciting feedback from hospital personnel evaluating the quality of the products in review, and coordinating and assisting, as necessary, in the implementation and conversion of products. This position is responsible for acting as a resource for AdventHealth Supply Chain directors/managers, CNOs/Chief Executives, hospital clinical/ancillary leaders and staff, Corporate Advisory and Value Analysis committees and external contracting/clinical committees. The Director of Strategic Clinical Resource Management and Value Analysis will lead, manage, train, develop and set direction for a highly skilled team of Clinical Resource Managers.

Supervises the Clinical Resource Managers to ensure a results-driven value analysis process with a focus on enhancing patient outcomes, patient safety, and the financial sustainability of the system.
Attracts, develops, and retains talent base. Performs leadership functions with staff such as goal setting, performance reviews, training, and career development.
Coach Clinical Resource Managers through significant complexities and barriers.
Collaborates with Regional Supply Chain Director and Regional Clinical Resource Managers on implementation of initiatives.
Collaborate with key hospital executives, supply chain leaders, and clinical teams to ensure that the goals and activities of Strategic Sourcing and Value Analysis are in alignment and support of AdventHealth’s Vision statement and business plan.
Develop communications and analyses for inclusion in executive level presentations.
Facilitates clinical teams to review utilization and options for product selection.
Identifies product standardization ideas, resource consumption reduction, and/or savings ideas and bring them to the appropriate committee for action.
Collects, analyzes and prepares information, conduct surveys and presents information for decision making.
Applies evidence-based healthcare practices and nursing standards in the implementation and evaluation of products and services
Ensures compliance with local, state and federal guidelines and requirements with regards to products and services for AdventHealth.
Demonstrates clinical expertise and knowledge gaining respect and trust of all AdventHealth colleagues.
Manages supplier relationships as it pertains to supporting AdventHealth facilities, ensuring education and in-service needs are met and any product quality assurance issues are addressed and resolved.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Bachelor’s degree in nursing
Current RN License
Eight to ten years of experience in a management/leadership position.
Five to seven or more years’ experience as a nurse in an acute care setting.
Three to five years managing people, projects and time.
Understanding of healthcare materials management as it pertains to products, processes, GPO and supplier relationships, contracts, sales, and marketing.
Clear understanding and experience in value analysis processes and methodologies.
Expertise in understanding variances in clinical practice.
Master’s degree in nursing, business or related field, preferred
Eight to ten or more years’ experience in Med-Surg, Operating Room, Cath lab or Critical Care Environment, preferred
Experience in supply chain functions and value analysis leadership within a multi-hospital system, preferred
