Position Summary
Full time position with premium shift differential working in both inpatient and outpatient.
This position provides occupational therapy services to a pediatric population, from neonatal through adolescence/young adulthood. Performs evaluation, program planning, and treatment of patients in activities of daily living, sensorimotor integration, cognitive and psychosocial skill, and feeding therapy, specific to age and developmental/functional level determined by assessment.
Education
- Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program. (Required)
Experience
- Pediatric experience (Preferred)
- Ortho, neuro, developmental pediatric experience (Preferred)
- Feeding therapy experience (Preferred)
- Splinting/hand therapy experience. (Preferred)
Certifications
- Current Certification with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT), prior to start date. (Required)
- Current State of Arizona Occupational Therapist license, prior to start date. (Required)
- Current AZ DPS fingerprint clearance card, prior to start date. (Required)
- Current BLS Certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association, prior to start date. (Required)
Special Skills
- Specialty training in Sensory Integration, feeding, splinting, NDT, taping, and other relevant Pediatric areas. (Preferred)
