Social Worker-ED - Patient & Family Services - Full Time PM Shift
SUMMARY: The purpose of the requisition is to establish a SW position that is exclusive to providing round the clock services to the Emergency Department. The position is responsible for providing various aspects of social work and case management to ensure that timely interventions are rendered and resources utilized are appropriate. The position works collaboratively with the care management team, other departments, physicians, and nursing to facilitate efficient and appropriate management of all cases. Mental Health interventions, including 5150 evaluations, are an essential component of the service provision.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Masters Degree Social Work required. LCSW - Licensed Clinical Social Worker preferred. Proficient level of Social Work experience required, Minimum one (1) year Acute hospital Social Work experience preferred. This position will be working in the Emergency Department. Eligible for 5150 certification via Madera County Behavioral Health is preferred.
JOB DETAILS: Full-time, 80 hour per pay period. This is a PM shift Monday-Thursday 1:30pm-12:00am.
