Find fulfillment with Franciscan! Our close-knit, collaborative hospitalist teams are growing across Indiana. Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a PRN experienced Advanced Practice Provider Nocturnist to meet the growing demand of our Hospitalist Program at Franciscan Health Hammond.  The program is well-respected and there is a healthy relationship with hospital administration.

WHAT WE NEED:

Ideal candidate will have a certification in acute care adult/geriatric, or 3+ years of acute care experience as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant. Candidate will have a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and a desire to develop strong ties with the community and build long-lasting relationships with patients and their families.  Candidate will need to work collaboratively to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

• Flexible, collaborative PRN schedule

• Shift Schedule:  6:00 p.m. â“ 6:00 a.m.

• Inpatient volume: 2 admits per shift

• General medical inpatient census approx. 8

• Remote cross cover support to sister hospital locations for a total of approx. 80 - 90 patients per shift

• Recent experience with intubation preferred. Training available.

• ACLS/BCLS required for Code Blue and Rapid Responses

• Epic electronic health record (Franciscan Health scored above the 90th percentile for Provider satisfaction for the inpatient Epic system)

• Strong collegial support from hospitalist collaborators
