Position Summary

Shift is 11am to 8p, 3 to 4 days a week including rotating weekends. Also needs to be flexible to cover 7a-730p upon coverage for PTO and Sick Time

The Patient Placement Representative supports the timely and accurate intake, registration and throughput of patients ensuring the collection and verification of all required information for admitted patients.

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Associates Degree in Healthcare, Business, or related field (Preferred)

Experience

• 1 year of Medical Registration, Billing or related experience (Required)
• Customer service experience in health care or retail environment (Required)
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience (Preferred)
• Allscripts, or HIS platform experience. (Preferred)

Special Skills

• Effective verbal and written communication skills, professional demeanor, team player with customer-focused attitude. (Required)
• Knowledge of medical terminology and ICD 10/CPT codes and an understanding of HIPAA privacy laws. (Required)
• Ability to speak Spanish. (Preferred)
