You’re more than a manager; You’re a mentor
When a team member needs support, you’re there. You’ve been where they are now. Or you just know when to share your experience. You may not even think of yourself as a mentor. You’re just someone who wants to see your team succeed. You’re the kind of manager we need any way you approach it. If you are ready for the next step in your career, please contact us.
We are looking for a highly skilled professional who desires to manage a team to coordinate and supervise the technical staff, processes, and the quality of moderate to high complexity testing on clinical specimens, including hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, immunology, and chemistry areas. To achieve the highest physician and patient satisfaction level, you’ll ensure the validity, accuracy, and reporting of test results within the established turn-around time. We’ll also depend on your efficiency for the smooth and safe running of the laboratory to improve patient experience, operational processes, and better outcomes. Management experience is preferred, but we are willing to train and guide the right candidate.
To qualify, you should have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or other healthcare related field
- Current New York State license as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist
- Minimum of 6 years’ clinical laboratory experience in a hospital setting
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience with laboratory information system and ASCP preferred
