DescriptionGENERAL SUMMARY:
The Retail Manager is responsible for the success of the store's profitability. The Manager will have responsibility for: product selection, merchandising, developing retail strategies and stock/inventory management. Contributing to the overall satisfaction of the customers by processing transactions accurately following the Community Cares culture.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage stores day-to day operations

Manage stock levels & making key decisions about stock control

Analyzing sales figures & forecast future sales to maximize profits

Using information technology to record sales figures & for data analysis & forward planning

Research new ways to improve sales & meeting customer demands

Deal with staffing issues, organizing training & development
-
Responding to customer complaints & comments
-
Negotiating skills with venders regarding price/shipping cost

May handle all Timekeeping, Scheduling, and Labor Management for store

Assertive skills with the ability to manage conflict in a variety of situations

Flexibility and ability to self-direct

May submit approved invoices to Accounting

Achieves and/or exceeds monthly budgeted sales, gross profit, and net income goals established by retail leadership

Complies and enforces all standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient operations

Consults with leadership on new business/retail initiatives/programs that follow the mission and vision of AdventHealth. Conducts outreach marketing as well as event coordination including tracking, expenses and achieving goals
QualificationsKNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English

Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
