ED Tech Per Diem Nights Position Summary
Provides patient care support services to Emergency and related departments under the supervision of an RN.?
Excellent customer service skills and basic computer skills, knowledge of basic medical terminology required.
Qualifications:THE ED TECH PER DIEM NIGHTS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
6+ months of experience in acute care setting, preferable in emergency room setting
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Experience as a CNA *(Certified Nursing Assistant) license
Experience as an EMT / Paramedic
Nurse Extern (completed block one/first year of nursing school)
Experience as a Unit Secretary or HUC
