Position Summary:
The Laboratory Quality Program Manager works collaboratively across the MultiCare Health System to develop, strengthen and execute the strategic direction of Laboratory Services to ensure successful attainment of the organization’s vision for quality, employee and patient safety, and clinical excellence in care and outcomes for all patients of the laboratory. The incumbent manages quality and regulatory compliance initiatives; leads accreditation initiatives with the Laboratories located within assigned hospital-based laboratories and the community based limited services locations; monitors the quality essentials of laboratory operations, and contributes to community involvement with educational programs, providing representation on Advisory boards and other affiliations deemed appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:
2 years laboratory teaching experience, or 5 years technologist experience
Experience with diagnostic laboratory instrumentation

Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a Science related field
Additional certification of Medical Technologist, MLS(ASCP)CM, MT (ASCP)
Possession of a valid Washington State Driver’s License
