Atlantic Health System is seeking a PerDiem Unit Associate I for Kahn 5- Neuro/Medical Unit at Morristown Medical Center, working varied shifts including every other weekend and holidays as per the needs of the unit.

• Answering the phones
• Answering and responding appropriately to the call bells
• Greeting patients and families
• Assisting the charge nurse with bed management and bed assignments and patient chart maintenance

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required

Related Experience:

• Previous Unit Associate experience in a hospital or medical office setting and medical terminology knowledge
• The candidate must have excellent customer service skills and telephone etiquette
• The position is for Per Diem with varying shifts (days and evenings) including weekends and holidays based on the unit's needs
• Must be available to attend at least four weeks or more of training during the days and evening hours, as well as weekends
