Overview
Atlantic Health System, is seeking a Part-time Radiological Technologist at Newton Medical Center. Shift hours vary including every other Saturday.
Responsibilities
- Performs x-ray exams and fluoro/OR exams within the hospital setting for ER
- Inpatient and Outpatient studies
- Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of working area
- Notifies Clinical Engineering of equipment malfunctions and maintains working area in safe patient manner at all times according to Joint Commission standards
- Maintains and follows departmental protocols
- Maintains composure and is able to prioritize cases during high volume periods within an emergency room setting
- Can use critical thinking skills to make appropriate decisions based on clinical skills
- Works well within a team setting and uses clear, concise communication to be part of a dedicated and compassionate care team
- Dedicated to delivering safe, quality, imaging at all times and follows the Image Gently principles and principles of a Highly Reliable Organization
Qualifications
Education:
- Must be a graduate of AMA certified radiography program
- Must hold a NJ License
- Must be ARRT registered
- Must have a valid CPR certification
Requirements:
- 1 year experience required in radiography
- Must be a team player and able to multitask
- Must exemplify professionalism and compassion while ensuring patient safety and the delivery of quality imaging services
- Effective communication skills with physicians, coworkers, supervisors, etc required
