We Are Hiring: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Day Surgery/PACU - .7 FTE (Days)
Schedule: CNA position in ambulatory surgery department with cross training to PACU as a transporter. Fast paced department with supportive staff and great team work. Manageable patient assignments and scheduling flexibility.
Pay: From $15/hour
In a single day, staff from 4 specialty based teams work within 16 Operating Room Suites to handle as many as 40 cases ranging from Cardiothoracic, Neuro/Orthopedics/Dental, General/Vascular/ ENT, GYN, Urology, to Plastics surgery. Waukesha Memorial Hospitals Operating Rooms average 8,500 procedures annually including da Vinci Robotic procedures performed within more specialties routinely than any other facility in SE Wisconsin. The OR suite also includes a newly built Hybrid OR and a fully integrated Minimally Invasive Robotic room.
What You Will Do:
We are currently searching for a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide supportto the staff and patients on the unit. Qualified candidates will work independentlyproviding resource information and general nursing care to patients.Completes clerical tasks related to regulatory annual requirements, audits and patient processes.
What You Will Need:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) - active or expired on registry
- Must have a strong interest in customer service, able to multi task, work independently with littlesupervision.
