Responsible for the overall operations in the sterile processing department ensuring the budget, staffing, resources, regulatory and patient quality standards are met. Serve as a liaison for all PCH outside facilities that send instruments for reprocessing or have an on-site SPD function. Serves as the liaison for Perioperative Services to the Facilities and Biomedical Engineering departments, with accountability for maintenance and construction within the Sterile Processing and Perioperative physical department.
Education
Completion of an accredited Sterile Processing, Nursing, Surgical Tech or related program. (Required)
Experience
5 Years of progressive management experience. (Required)
Operating Room experience circulating and/or scrub role (Preferred)
Certifications
Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association. (Required)
CSPDM, CRCST, CIS, CST, TS-C or CNOR (Required)
Current RN license in the state of Arizona. (Preferred)
