Role Purpose
As a Senior User Experience (UX) Designer, you will be responsible for establishing design systems, working with agile-product teams to design compelling digital experiences across a vast range of healthcare services, and helping evolve the collective design capabilities of the organization. This could include the design of virtual care delivery, nurse communications, remote health monitoring, operating room operations, financial transparency and payment, care coordination, and more. Expert knowledge of design and experience applying design best practices is critical to this role. You will be part of a growing team and will be responsible for elevating the design craft within the organization and driving design best practices. This includes working with product leadership within the context of an agile-product team, helping build out a design community and supporting artifacts, and co-creating designs with key stakeholders that will have a measurable impact on the digital healthcare experience.
Responsibilities
- Bring business stakeholders, product owners, and technology engineering teams together to establish and design the experience of digital products. Collaborating directly with product teams to iterate on prototypes, address design concerns, and ensure the quality of the user experience across multiple digital products and customer journeys.
- Lead the creation and evolution of an enterprise-scalable Design System, collaborating with marketing and technology leaders to align to brand standards and build out supporting component libraries
- Establish enterprise-level design flows and information architectures using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps. Evolve the organization's design-thinking capabilities by disseminating design techniques.
- Partner with product and research leadership to lead design sprints, conduct innovation workshops, develop design roadmaps, and design high level prototypes. When necessary, conducting usability testing, A/B testing, and perform heuristic evaluations and assessments of the user experience across multiple delivery channels (web, mobile, etc.)
- Adeptly defending design decisions and an articulate and inclusive way. Mentor junior designers around verbal and written storytelling, reporting, and presentations.

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5-10 years experience
Preferred Qualifications- Master's Degree
- 10+ years experience
- < 2 years supervisory experience
