Role Purpose
The parking attendant II is responsible for assisting patients, visitors, volunteers, and employees with all parking needs throughout the Medical Center campus. The parking attendant II must at all times demonstrate ICARE values in all interactions and anticipate the needs of our customers. The parking attendant II must also be proficient in managing large volumes of keys, tickets and drivers. They must also demonstrate proficiency in cash controls and revenue control.
Responsibilities
- Notifies Security and/or supervisor of unauthorized vehicles, all accidents and/or suspicious activities within the parking lots and garages.
- Completes all shift close-out reports and revenue deposits processes on a daily basis. Completes and confirms the accuracy of all paperwork and reports variances immediately to supervisor or manager.
- Provides parking directions to motorists and partners with Security personnel in directing traffic at assigned location.
- Greets customers and drives parks, and returns vehicles of patients or visitors according to department parking and valet procedures.
- Maintains and manages all customers’ keys ensuring computer recording of vehicles in/out times so we may manage our department standard of returns within 10 minutes.
- BJC has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.

Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License
