UC Davis Medical Center One Community Health Sacramento, CA Pharmacy Manager 1-One Community Health (CARES) Salary Range: $8,500.00-$22,175.00 Monthly Final Filing Date: 4/19/21 Department Description The Pharmacy Department provides comprehensive pharmaceutical services to One Community Health (OCH), with direct oversight of retail pharmacy operations and the pharmaceutical ordering and inventory for the OCH medical clinics. The OCH Department is comprised of one on-site outpatient/retail pharmacy. Responsibilities The position is responsible for achieving UCDH and OCH organizational objectives through coordinated efforts of subordinate staff; establishing goals and objectives; managing the accountability and stewardship of human, financial and physical resources in compliance with departmental and organizational objectives; ensuring subordinate staff adheres to defined internal controls; managing systems and procedures to protect departmental assets. provides leadership, supervision and management of all initiatives, operations, and processes as they relate to One Community Health Pharmacy. The position establishes services, standards of quality, productivity and performance in accordance with OCH policies and procedures and requirements of the State and Federal regulatory agencies. Required Qualifications - Must be California Pharmacist License eligible and possess a valid license at the time of hire
- Seven or more years’ experience in retail pharmacy.
- Five or more years’ experience managing retail pharmacy operations.
- Knowledge in pharmacy practice and industry best practices in optimizing the use of medication to treat patients.
- Knowledge of all relevant pharmacy department, OCH, and UCD policies and protocols including medicine storage, safety, and patient privacy and treatment.
- Knowledge of all pharmacy federal and state laws and regulations.
- Leadership skills in employee supervision and HR administration to effectively lead and motivate others.
- Conflict resolution skills to resolve personnel issues and counsel assigned staff to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships.
- Ability to promote equity, diversity, and inclusion.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a complex, challenging environment.

Special Requirements - Must be able to work occasional overtime. No smoking allowed in work area. TB test and blood serum sample required annually per Joint Commission standards. Must dress in a professional manner as outlined by the Departmental dress code. Must have good personal hygiene. Possession and maintenance of valid California license as a Registered Pharmacist issued by the California State Board of Pharmacy.
