The Department Secretary performs confidential management and staff secretarial functions and related duties, and assists in the operations of the pharmacy under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy.

• Minimum of two years experience in a hospital or medical position requiring the use of medical terminology and the performance of varied typing projects including ability to create detailed charts and documents

• Shall be able to type a minimum corrected rate of 60 words per minute and be adept at using personal computer programs

• Advanced working knowledge and efficiency of Microsoft Office includes but not limited to Excel, Word and PowerPoint programs
