1. Coordinates daily work flow of technologists within the CT and x-ray departments.
2. Performs and assists with CT and x-ray studies.
3. Assists with arranging technologist schedules including call schedules and holiday schedules.
4. Assists with performance improvement P.I. initiatives within the department.
5. Maintains efficient and effective department operation while requiring compliance with all JCAHO, federal, state and local regulatory laws, standards and protocols.
6. Works with students from affiliated Radiology schools, as needed.
7. Assists to ensure departmental supplies are maintained.
8. Responsible for ensuring equipment is cleaned and disinfected regularly.
9. Responsible for maintaining productivity of the department.
10. Responsible for growing volumes in the department.
11. Responsible for training and orienting new staff in diagnostic x-ray and CT.
12. Responsible for staff retention in the diagnostic x-ray and CT departments.
13. Responsible for creating and maintaining protocol books in the diagnostic imaging and CT department for all procedures and equipment under the direction of the Director of Imaging Services and the Medical Director of Radiology.
14. Responsible for maintaining ACR accreditation of the CT department.

Education:
1. Registered with the ARRT.
2. Certification in CT required
3. Certified by the State of South Carolina

Experience: Three (3) years of experience under a board certified radiologist preferred.

Other Qualifications: Current BLS certification
