Need for VMG Clinic at Edward Curd Lane in Williamson County. This position will perform Phlebotomy work and will include specific training for all clinic sites covered by VPLS.
Primary hrs are 8:30AM - 5PM, M-F. Flexibility is required as Position will also act as a float to cover schedules between 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday at other VPLS locations as needed.
Draws blood from patients in the outpatient clinic
Uses appropriate phlebotomy techniques including syringe, vacutainer, and capillary skin puncture techniques
Practices age specific guidelines
Prepares specimens for transport to laboratory.
Position may also occasionally act as a float to cover vacancy schedules at other Vanderbilt Pathology Lab Services Clinics with hours that vary between 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. Ability to have flexible hours within this time frame is required.
