Work Hours/Shift:
Monday – Friday
9:00AM – 5:30PM
 
You Will Be Responsible For:
  • Scheduling patients for Outpatient Radiology, Cardiology and other hospital procedures
  • Collecting and verifying demographic, insurance and relevant clinical information
  • Verifying accuracy of order and scanning into medical record
  • Calling patients to complete appointment scheduling
  • Demonstrate and promote high standards for quality and productivity
  • Work collaboratively with Pre-Access Center team members to ensure a positive patient experience

 

 

 

Qualifications

What You Will Need:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of position-related experience
 
Job Summary:

The Centralized Scheduler I is responsible for scheduling outpatient procedures and ensuring correct pertinent information is obtained. This position requires medical terminology, excellent phone skills, typing 35 wpm, and excellent customer service skills.  Working knowledge of physician practice and a good understanding of radiology procedures or scheduling experience is required.
