Women's Behavioral Health Individual Therapist 4

Inova's Women's Behavioral Health Program is currently seeking Therapists to join their new and exciting Program!

Therapist will demonstrates advanced clinical expertise in the provision of a range of therapeutic services, psychoeducational programming, and behavioral interventions to assist the client in achieving progress towards the goals and objectives of the individualized treatment plans. Reports to Director. Clinical Independence. Provides case management. Provides documentation and performs administrative functions appropriate to clinical role. Adheres to Inova's Culture of Safety. Participates in maintaining a Professional Culture in Inova Women's Behavioral Health.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  • Other duties as assigned and designed for patient services whether in IOP/MH IOP/Suboxone and any trainings or community needs such as outreach for marketing the clinic.
  • Support clinic initiatives and new services such as a mental health IOP.
  • Complete any quality control measures to ensure documentation is complete both in hardcopy and EPIC.
  • Support and cover for other staff as needed.
  • Orient and train new staff to the clinic as needed.
  • Support the other clinic programs (IOP/Suboxone/eventual MH IOP) as needed.
  • Collaborate with medication management providers or others involved in patients care as needed.
  • Complete initial assessments as needed.
  • Complete any business-related calls as needed such as with insurance companies or the billing office if needed.
  • Support all the clinic programs as needed for coverage.
  • Clinical supervision of an intern/unlicensed staff member as needed.
  • Work with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Complete all screening paperwork for therapy patients.
  • Complete all therapy chart documentation both hardcopy and EPIC.
  • Facilitate group, individual, family sessions and complete assessments as needed.
