• Overall strategic planning and direction of the relationships and business development between AdventHealth and local EMS entities.

• Responsible for driving new market share from private and local municipalities, as well as actively seeking to partner with internal service lines to enhance the overall patient experience.
• Responsible for performing statistical analysis to determine EMS throughput improvement opportunities, EMS volume fluctuations with root cause analysis and forecasting, and growth opportunity analysis. 
• Acts as a liaison and maintaining a positive relationship between the hospital and area EMS providers
• Serves as an advocate of the hospital with local, regional and state EMS agencies

• Bachelorâ™s Degree
• Three years of related experience (nursing, paramedic or business-related field)
• Current valid State of KS or multi state license as an EMT, Paramedic or RN.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. 

The Marketing Strategist - EMS (MSEMS) establishes, develops, and manages the relationships between hospital administration and ED staff and local/regional/state Emergency Medical Service (EMS) agencies. This role is responsible for supporting, planning, and executing critical initiatives to drive market share and establish trusting relationships with private and local agencies. The MSEMS works with the multi-campus C-suite leadership, Directors of Emergency Department, Business Development, Cardiology, and Stroke service line leaders, and Marketing to increase Emergency Medical Service, Cardiology, and Stroke market share. Identifies and alleviates issues that may affect the delivery of health care as well as the hospitalâ™s relationship with EMS providers.  Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
