Summary

Directs and provides a variety of program therapy modalities to patients requiring hospitalization for mental healthcare. Works under the direction and in collaboration with the hospital�s medical staff. Complies with the objectives and policies of the hospital. Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with the program�s standards. May be needed to work beyond the regular tour of duty or assume other job duties as assigned by Manager.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (including required licenses/certifications, education and job knowledge/experience):

Recent experience in mental health care preferred

Effective oral and written communication skills in the English language

Visual and hearing senses must be adequate to assess/detect changes in human physiological condition

Able to function effectively in fast paced, high stress environment
