Assist the Regulatory Compliance Manager with ensuring the organization's compliance with regulatory standards in accordance with The Joint Commission (TJC), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), OSHA, and the State of Tennessee Department of Health regulations. Assists with regulatory performance data collection and quality management reporting.
Professional level of knowledge acquired through completion of at least an associate degree in nursing, healthcare administration or another clinical field.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum Work Experience
Two or more years of nursing and/or health care clinical experience.
Experience with regulatory and accreditation standards or quality management preferred
Required Licenses/Certifications for position
Current licensure in health-related field.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to negotiate collaborative efforts with other departments and to assist the department with implementing patient safety standards and guidelines and performance improvement action plans.
A high level of analytical ability to be able to research potential problems or issues.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Possess a high level of initiative, work independently, and establish priorities to meet department and organizational goals
Proficient advanced knowledge and skill with using information systems and computer operations (including Windows, Excel, Access, Adobe Acrobat, EMRs) in a hospital and/or clinical environment. Knowledge and experience working directly with electronic health records.
