Directs the overall Quality, Performance Improvement and Patient Safety Program. Collaborates and coordinates with the system/hospital patient safety, regulatory and infection prevention teams and initiatives Demonstrated ability to design, evaluate, analyze and present data and performance metrics. Manages professional and clerical staff, including day-to-day supervision, employee relations and staff development. Establishes and maintains effective and responsive relationships with leadership, medical staff, other departments and key internal and external stakeholders. Manages department finances, including budgeting and control of salary, non-salary and capital investments.
